Physicians

Each of our board-certified physician and physician extender is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.

drkim Dr. Joy Kim is board-certified in family practice. She has been in private practice in DuPage County since 1990. She completed her post graduate medical residency training at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center in Oak Park, IL. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine in 1986 with a combined B.A. and M.D. degrees in six years. She has served as adjunct faculty at West Suburban Hospital Family Practice residency program.

Dr. Kim was the founding physician of CENTRA in 1995 (now Central DuPage Physician Group with over 70 physicians). She served as its Chairperson of the Board of Directors and as Board Member for Central DuPage Health System. During her tenure at CENTRA, she also served as the Medical Director for ten-physician group practice with offices in Wheaton, St. Charles and Lombard. She left CENTRA in 2004 to start a solo practice in order to focus on personalized medical care and her desire to care for the whole person.

Dr. Kim’s clinical interests include:

  • Diabetes
  • Hormonal and metabolic disorders
  • Hypertension and lipids
  • Pediatric and adolescent medicine
  • Women’s health issues
  • ADHS and depression
  • Dermatological conditions including treatment of acne/rosacea and skin lesions
  • Medical aesthetics: laser skin rejuvenation and resurfacing, Botox®, Jevéderm®, and chemical peels

Dr. Kim is married with two sons and one daughter. Her life and work are shaped and guided by her faith and spiritual disciplines.

drkimElizabeth Farber is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She joined Integro Family Health in 2009. She is a graduate of Wheaton College and earned a Master of Science degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville, TN. Elizabeth is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is also a member of National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners (NAPNAP).

As a pediatric nurse practitioner, she has received advanced education and training to provide children and adolescents with the highest quality care. Her interest as a nurse practitioner is in disease adaptation, health promotion, wellness, and prevention. She is deeply committed to serving her patients with excellence, compassion, and integrity as well as advocating for holistic mind, body, and spirit care.

Her clinical interests include:

  • Developmental pediatrics
  • Asthma and allergy management
  • Acne and skin care
  • Behavioral health
  • Adolescent wellness

Elizabeth is married and lives in Wheaton with her husband and their dog, Duke.
